MCA notification No.GSR (E) Dated 22nd January 2019 – Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Amendment Rules, 2019

MCA has notified the aforesaid Rules, to amend the acceptance of deposits rules. The definition of depositor now excludes, among other things, a Real Estate Investment Trust. Few amendments with respect to filing of forms for outstanding deposits by Government companies have also been made. For a complete text of this notification, please refer the link:

MCA notification No.GSR (E) Dated 22nd January 2019 – Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Amendment Rules, 2019

MCA has directed that all companies, who get supplies of goods or services from micro and small enterprises and whose payments to micro and small enterprise suppliers exceed forty-five days from the date of acceptance or the date of deemed acceptance of the goods or services, shall submit a half yearly return in MSME Form I to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. There are various aspects which are required to be reported therein. MCA notification No.GSR (E) Dated 12th January 2019 - The Companies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019

The President of India has promulgated the aforesaid Ordinance to give continuity to the Companies (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019 since the same could not be passed in the Council of States within the time allowed. For a complete text of this ordinance, please refer the link:
