The Government of Maharashtra has issued Notification bearing No. VAT-1523 /C.R.59 /Taxation-1 dated 7.11.2023 by which the amendment is made in Rule 6(1B) of MVAT Rules which is about age limit of members of Tribunal.

The Commissioner of State Tax has issued Circular no. 28T of 2023 dated 10.11.2023 by which it is clarified that the decision against stay of recovery in the matter of SLP filed by the Promoters and Builders Association and the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI) on longer exist and the departmental authorities can recover the same as per the provisions of the law.
