Dear Esteemed Members,
The global economy is showing encouraging signs of moving towards greater stability after an extended period of uncertainty. Inflationary pressure continues to ease across major economies financial markets are gaining renewed confidence in international trade is steadily recovering. Against this evolving global backdrop, India continues to stand out as one of world’s fastest- growing major economies, supported by prudent fiscal management, sustained policy reforms, robust domestic demand and a resilient macroeconomic framework. The recent participation of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji at the G20 engagements further reinforced India’s position as a trusted global partner, strengthening International Economic Cooperation and enhancing investor’s confidence. As we move into the second half of the year, these positive developments inspire renewed optimism for businesses, professionals and citizens alike reaffirming India’s steady progress towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 - a developed and globally competitive nation.

This was a vibrant month for WIRC, marked by a diverse range of successful and impactful initiatives that strengthen professional capabilities and reinforced our commitment to continuous learning. Our technical programmes covered a wide spectrum of contemporary subjects including GST, Direct Taxes, Internal Audit, Banking, Capital Markets, Insolvency, Corporate Laws, Financial Reporting, Artificial Intelligence, ESG, Data Privacy Digital Transformation and emerging professional opportunities, equipping members with practical insights to navigate an evolving regulatory and business landscape.
Knowledge dissemination continued through flagship initiatives such as the WOW Series, Market on Monday, Samvad Vishwas ka Help Desks, Wealth Conclave on AIFs and Family Offices, DTRC, study group meetings, seminars, conferences, refresher courses and specialized workshops. These platforms brought together eminent expert and experienced professionals to deliberate on emerging issues, regulatory developments and practical challenges. The DTRC sessions witnessed an overwhelming participation for over 1000 + members, reaffirming the profession’s strong commitment to continuous learning and WIRC’s endeavour to deliver equality technical education.
Our engagement with members remained equally strong through interactions with branches, study circles and collaborative initiatives across the Region. These engagements strengthened our collective resolve to build an inclusive responsive and future – ready professionals community where learning, collaboration and shared purpose continue to flourish.
Beyond professional learning, WIRC also reaffirmed its commitment to holistic well-being and social responsibility through the celebration of International Yoga Day. The program was graced by Hon’ble Shri Piyush Goyal ji as the Chief Guest and Shri Sanjay Upadhyay ji as the Guest of Honour. Members enthusiastically participated in a yoga session conducted under the guidance of expert instructors, followed by a Blood Donation Drive, reflecting the spirit of wellness service and community engagement.
A defining highlight of the month was the resounding success of MSME & STARTUP CONCLAVE which served as a dynamic platform for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, financial institutions in Chartered Accountants to deliberate on financing innovation governance and sustainable growth for India’s MSME ecosystem. The Conclave was graced by Hon’ble Sri Rahul Narwekar ji currently Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring address underscored the critical role of MSMEs and STARTUPs in driving economic progress and highlighted the need for robust governance innovation and policy support to realise the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The event was further enriched by the presence of the Hon’ble President of ICAI, CA. Prasanna Kumar D sir and the Hon’ble Vice President of ICAI, CA. Mangesh Kinare sir whose insightful address is reaffirmed the pivotal role of Chattered Accountants as trusted advisors in fostering entrepreneurship strengthening MSMEs and enabling sustainable business growth. The Conclave witnessed an overwhelming response of more than 1500 + participants reaffirming WIRC’s commitment to creating high impact platforms that encourage collaboration, inspires innovation and contribute meaningfully to India’s economic transformation.
Another defining milestone of the month was the celebration of Journey of 75 Glorious Years of WIRC, commemorating a remarkable journey of dedicated service to the profession. The platinum Jubilee celebrations on 27th June were graced by the divine presence and blessings of Pujya Arshyogi Swamiji adding a deeply inspiring and spiritual dimensions to this landmark occasion. We also had the privilege of felicitating our esteemed Senior Past Chairmen and Chairpersons, whose visionary leadership unwavering commitment, and invaluable contributions have been instrumental in shaping WIRC’s enduring legacy. This remarkable journey would not have been possible without their invaluable guidance support the selfless service over the decades. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the legacy and an inspiration for us to carry forward their vision with renewed purpose, dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
