WICASA WIRC – Inspiring Learning, Celebrating Excellence

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

- Eleanor Roosevelt

Dear CA Students,

The journey of a Chartered Accountancy student is one of discipline, purpose, and transformation. And over the past few weeks, the WICASA WIRC community has truly exemplified this journey - through participation, learning, responsibility, and celebration.

We began with the much-awaited National Talent Search (NTS) - Branch and Regional Rounds, a platform where intellect met expression. Students from across 29 branches of WIRC participated with great enthusiasm in Essay Writing, Elocution, Quiz, Debate, and the unique Pitch Deck Presentation. WICASA WIRC conducted a special guidance session for branch-level winners, providing them with key do's and don'ts, effective strategies, and practical tips to help them excel at the regional-level competitions. These events did not just bring out competitive spirit, but also nurtured creativity, articulation, and analytical thinking - essential tools for tomorrow’s professionals.

To further enrich academic curiosity, we conducted two impactful virtual learning series - ‘Gyan Yagna’ on Valuations, and ‘Samvaad’ on Investment Banking. These sessions were crafted to provide deeper understanding and real-world insights, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application. The overwhelming participation reaffirmed how eager and future-focused our student community is.

Our commitment to society was reflected in a powerful initiative during the week of World Environment Day, when WIRC organised a 5-kilometre Walkathon, uniting students and members in a shared call for sustainability and climate consciousness. The event wasn’t just a physical challenge - it was a symbolic stride towards a healthier planet. The enthusiasm, energy, and sense of purpose demonstrated by all participants were truly commendable.

We also came together in pride to celebrate the 77th Chartered Accountants Day - an occasion that honours the legacy, discipline, and integrity of our profession. The celebration served as a reminder of how far we've come and how much farther we can go as a community committed to excellence.

Another milestone worth mentioning - though details are reserved for the upcoming newsletter - is the recently concluded Industrial Visit. This experience offered invaluable exposure, deep insights, and engaging interactions that added practical flavor to our academic pursuit. We’re excited to share the highlights with you soon!

Together, let’s keep building the WOW - Wings of WICASA community - where learning meets leadership, and every step forward shapes us into the professionals we aspire to be.

Warm regards,
CA Jitendra Saglani
