Message from WICASA Chairman's Desk

“The only limit to our realization of tomorrow is our doubts of today.”

- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Dear Students,

As we move ahead with purpose and passion into the new month, this quote reminds us that belief in ourselves is the first step toward achievement. The CA journey is filled with challenges, but each hurdle you cross brings you one step closer to the professional you aspire to be. Let confidence and courage be your compass as you pursue your goals.

April was a month defined by learning, inspiration, and strategic engagement. We began with the insightful session “How to Ace CA Exams,” where experienced professionals and All India Rank holders in CA exams shared practical strategies and mindset hacks to help students approach their exams with clarity, efficiency, and confidence. The session served as a powerful motivator for all those preparing to conquer the academic milestones ahead.

Our Decoding AI with CA Students workshop brought the future into focus. As the finance profession rapidly evolves, understanding the role of AI and technology is no longer optional - it's essential. This session opened up conversations on how Chartered Accountants can embrace innovation, stay ahead of the curve, and drive change with tech-enabled insights.

As part of our commitment to holistic preparation, we organized Mock Tests for all levels – CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final. These mock exams were aimed at helping students assess their preparedness, manage exam stress, and identify improvement areas ahead of their main examinations.

We also conducted Marathon Sessions on Indirect Tax for CA Final and CA Intermediate students. These sessions were intensive and focused, designed to help students revise the entire syllabus efficiently and build conceptual clarity under expert guidance.

The Gyan Yagna Series 1 was another resounding success, with its theme on Finance, Treasury, and Wealth Management. The session featured seasoned experts who broke down complex financial strategies into practical knowledge, empowering students to view finance not just as a subject, but as a dynamic, value-creating domain.

We also unveiled the much-anticipated theme for the year, "Shreshta" , which stands for S- Strength, H- Honour, R- Responsibility, E- Excellence, S- Service, H- Hardwork, T- Transparency A- Ambition", sparking excitement and creativity across the student community. The reveal marked the beginning of what promises to be a landmark event in our WICASA journey this year.

In an effort to foster collaboration and vision-sharing, we hosted an orientation session with esteemed Members and Chairmen of various CASAs across the Western Region. Their guidance and insights reinforced our commitment to unity, shared purpose, and growth as a community.

Looking forward, May brings with it an air of anticipation and ambition. We are thrilled to announce the dates for our flagship event - National Conference (NATCON) to be held on 21st and 22nd November 2025. It promises to be a powerhouse of ideas, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Additionally, we will be having National Talent Search - including Pitch Deck Presentation, Essay Writing, Debate, Elocution, and Quiz Competitions. These platforms are designed to sharpen your thinking, communication, and leadership skills - all vital traits for a future-ready Chartered Accountant.

As always, stay engaged with the WICASA community. Whether it's attending sessions, participating in competitions, or just staying connected through our Instagram and LinkedIn handles, your involvement is what keeps our initiatives meaningful and impactful.

Remember - the journey is tough, but so are you. With each day, you're not just preparing for a profession, you're preparing for a life of integrity, resilience, and leadership.

Keep moving forward with purpose. We at WICASA and WIRC are with you, cheering you on - every step of the way.

Warm regards,
CA. Jitendra Saglani
Chairman, WICASA (WIRC)
