Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”

Dear Student Friends,
September has been a month full of learning, engagement, and fun for our WICASA family. Each activity organized across the region not only helped strengthen your academic skills but also offered opportunities to explore new areas, connect with peers, and grow as future Chartered Accountants.
This month featured the National Talent Search Regional Level Competitions, where students demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity, and teamwork. The Deal Makers’ Playbook gave participants hands-on insights into negotiation, financial decision-making, and problem-solving skills that will be invaluable in your professional journey.
Celebrating Teachers’ Day, the Technique-Based Communicative English Session helped students improve their communication skills, while the Beach Cleanup Drive reminded us of the importance of social and environmental responsibility. On the academic front, session on GST Awareness, and the initiative Aura AI provided a mix of technical knowledge and personal development, equipping you to perform better and work efficiently.
Motivational and enrichment sessions like “Be the Winner” inspired resilience and confidence, and Wow Bookies encouraged reading, reflection, and continuous learning. Together, these activities strengthened your skills, broadened your perspective, and fostered a sense of community among students. Also, ending the festive season with post-Navratri Garba Night, students enjoyed it a lot.
Looking ahead, we are all gearing up for the National Conference of CA Students in December, WICASA’s flagship event. This is a golden opportunity to meet students from across India, present ideas, interact with experts, and gain invaluable insights into the profession. I strongly encourage each of you to actively participate in the present, volunteer, and engage with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Remember, your involvement today shapes not only your growth but also strengthens the CA student fraternity. Let’s continue to learn, explore, and perform with focus and dedication, building a brighter future together.
With best wishes,
CA Jitendra Saglani
